Abstract English

.AbstractThe study seeks to monitor the impact of the economic risks and challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic on the changing spending priorities Within the Egyptian family. The study also attempts to identify the role of disparities between social classes in reordering spending priorities within the Egyptian family during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Study is based on the descriptive method, the comparative approach, the sample social survey method, and the way to approach the case as general methods for study. The tools used to approach this case study, namely, the questionnaire form, interview guide and observation guide were applied on a sample of 300 breadwinners living in the capital city of Egypt, Cairo.The Study Found: the economic risks and challenges associated with the Covied-19 pandemic played a crucial role in changing the spending priorities of the three segments of society, consumer spending decreased. Spending priorities before the COVID-19 pandemic and after the pandemic, during the period of coexistence with the pandemic, low spending during the pandemic is a Situational behavior that Goes away With the causes, represented by: low income, presence of the fatal virus, high prices, low working hours, infections with the COVID-19. The Study Suggests: the need to diversify sources of income, the need to take up employment in the private sector, and investment in small and medium-sized enterprises as well as the importance of sustaining the individual and family economy towards saving, and then investment.

الملخص العربي

المستخلصتسعى الدراسة الراهنة رصد تأثير المخاطر والتحديات الاقتصادية التى فرضتها جائحة کورونا على تغيير أولويات الانفاق داخل الأسرة المصرية وذلک خلال الجائحة وخلال مرحلة التعايش مع الجائحة .التعرف على دور التباينات بين الطبقات الاجتماعية فى إعادة ترتيب أولويات الانفاق داخل الأسرة المصرية خلال جائحة کورونا ، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي ، والمنهج المقارن ، وعلى طريقة المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة ، وطريقة دراسة الحالة کطرق عامة للدراسة، وتم استخدام ادوات ( استمارة استبيان ،دليل المقابلة، دليل الملاحظة ) وتطبيقها على عينة عمدية بلغ عددها (300) مفردة من أرباب الأسر بمدينة القاهرة الکبري.توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج من بينها: لعبت المخاطر والتحديات الاقتصادية المرتبطة بجائحة کورونا دورا کبيرا فى تغير أولويات الانفاق لدى شرائح المجتمع الثلاثة ، انخفض الانفاق الاستهلاکى ، وأصبح الانفاق فى ضوء الأولويات من استهلاک السلع الضرورية فقط، اختلفت أولويات إنفاق المستهلکين قبل جائحة کورونا ، وبعد الجائحة ، وخلال فترة التعايش مع الجائحة، انخفاض الانفاق خلال الجائحة سلوک ظرفي يزول بزوال أسبابه المتمثلة فى : انخفاض الدخل ، وجود الفيرس ، ارتفاع الأسعار ، انخفاض فرص العمل، الاصابة بفيرس کورونا -19، وتقترح الدراسة عدة توصيات من بينها : إعطاء القطاعين الصحى والتعليمى أهمية أکبر فى سلم أولويات الإنفاق داخل الأسرة المصرية .
