Abstract English
The current study aims to compare self-actualization between two societies, the Kuwaiti society and the Egyptian society, in light of the gender and culture variables, and the basic study sample consisted of (715) Arab university youth with a rate of (400) Kuwaiti students (236 males) and (164 females) and (315) Egyptian students (178 males) and (137 females). The members of the total study sample responded to the Self-actualization Scale of the Arab University Youth, prepared/ the researcher. The data were collected and analyzed using averages and standard deviations, and the "T" test. The results of the study indicated that the group of Arab university youth, whether Kuwaiti or Egyptian, possesses average levels in the total score for self-actualization or its five sub-dimensions (spontaneity, empathy, fun, innovation, acceptance of self and the other. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between Kuwaiti and Egyptian males in the dimensions of self-actualization and its total degree, as well as the absence of statistically significant differences between Kuwaiti and Egyptian females in the dimensions of self-actualization and its overall degree, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between youth The Arab university in the two cultures (Kuwaiti and Egyptian) in the dimensions of self-actualization and its overall degree.

تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى مقارنة تحقيق الذات بين مجتمعين، المجتمع الکويتي والمجتمع المصري، في ضوء متغيري النوع والثقافة، وتکونت عينة الدراسة الأساسية من (715) من الشباب الجامعي العربي بمعدل (400) طالبًا وطالبة من الکويتيين (236 ذکراً) و(164 أنثى)، و(315) طالبًا وطالبة من المصريين (178 ذکراً) و(137 أنثى). استجاب أفراد عينة الدراسة الکلية لمقياس تحقيق الذات لدى الشباب الجامعي العربي إعداد/ الباحثة. وتم جمع البيانات وتحليلها باستخدام المتوسطات والانحرافات المعيارية، واختبار "ت"، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى امتلاک مجموعة الشباب الجامعي العربي سواء الکويتي أو المصري مستويات متوسطة في الدرجة الکلية لتحقيق الذات أو أبعادها الفرعية الــخمسة (التلقائية، والتعاطف، والمرح، والإبتکارية، وتقبل الذات والآخر)، کما بينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذکور الکويتيين والمصريين في أبعاد تحقيق الذات ودرجته الکلية، وکذا عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الإناث الکويتيات والمصريات في أبعاد تحقيق الذات ودرجته الکلية، إضافة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الشباب الجامعي العربي في الثقافتين (الکويتية - المصرية) في أبعاد تحقيق الذات ودرجته الکلية.
