Abstract English

The Corona pandemic has caused severe damage to global economic activity, as the restrictions imposed by countries to curb the spread of this dangerous virus have caused a tremendous impact on global economic growth. Unparalleled globality in terms of the huge human losses on the one hand, along with other losses, especially economic ones due to the partial and total closure, which led to the most severe recession the world has witnessed since World War IISince the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, the global economy has been almost completely paralyzed, and there are many economic sectors that have suffered heavy losses, including the foreign trade sector, due to the sharp decline in production, supply and import activities due to the imposition of new measures that worked to restrict freedom of trade, and Egypt is one of the countries affected by the Corona virus to This prompted the Egyptian government to take many precautionary and preventive measures to work to protect citizens, This research came to form an accurate picture of the impact of the pandemic on the Egyptian foreign trade sector by analyzing Egypt’s merchandise exports and imports in terms of their spatial trends and commodity composition, evaluating the economic efficiency of Egypt’s foreign trade during the pandemic period, and presenting a picture of the future of Egypt’s foreign trade in the post-Corona stage.

الملخص العربي

ألحقت جائحة کورونا أضراراً جسيمة بالنشاط الاقتصادى العالمى حيث تسببت القيود التى فرضتها الدول لکبح جماح انتشار هذا الفيروس الخطير فى إحداث تأثيراً هائلاً على النمو الاقتصادى العالمى ، فوفقاً لتقرير الأفاق الاقتصادية العالمية الصادر عن البنک الدولى لعام 2020 م إتضح أن هذه الجائحة قد تسببت فى أزمة صحية عالمية لا مثيل لها من ناحية الخسائر البشرية الهائلة هذا من ناحية ، إلى جانب الخسائر الأخرى وخاصة الاقتصادية بسبب الإغلاق الجزئى والکلى ، والذى أفضى إلى أشد رکود شهده العالم منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية .فمنذ تفشى جائحة کورونا والاقتصاد العالمى قد أصابه الشلل شبه التام وهناک قطاعات اقتصادية عديدة تعرضت لخسائر فادحة ومن بينها قطاع التجارة الخارجية بسبب التراجع الحاد فى أنشطة الإنتاج والتوريد والاستيراد بسبب فرض إجراءات جديدة عملت على تقييد حرية التجارة ، ومصر واحدة من الدول التى تأثرت بفيروس کورونا إلى حد کبير مما دفع الحکومة المصرية إلى اتخاذ العديد من التدابير والاجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية للعمل على حماية المواطنين ، وجاء هذا البحث لتکوين صورة دقيقة عن تأثير الجائحة على قطاع التجارة الخارجية المصرية من خلال تحليل صادرات وواردات مصر السلعية من حيث اتجاهاتها المکانية وترکيبها السلعى ، وتقييم الکفاءة الاقتصادية لتجارة مصر الخارجية خلال فترة الجائحة ، وتقديم صوره لمستقبل تجارة مصر الخارجية فى مرحلة ما بعد کورونا .
