Abstract English

The research deals –From the perspective of comparative literature- with the forms of social oppression in the novel "Hunger" by the Egyptian writer "Muhammad Al-Bassati" and the novel "Memoirs of a Blood Seller" by the Chinese writer "Yuhua". The research concluded that there are some forms of social oppression in which the two novels differ. From the suffering of poverty and poor economic conditions, to marginalization and the form of social relations, and the forms of social oppression differ in some aspects related to the cultural differences and social conditions between the two countries. The research concluded that there are some forms of social oppression in which the two novels differ. These include unemployment and suffering in terms of children's education and even affections and marriage, and the impact of disasters on the poor; whether natural disasters or man-made disasters, while the two novels are similar to each other in some forms of oppression, such as poverty, social relations, and the suffering of marginalization. There are also many factors that contributed to the social oppression that the characters of the two novels were subjected to. Including poor infrastructure in the countryside, low level of education and services, and discrimination between urban and rural communities.Key words: social oppression, social injustice, comparative literature, Muhammad Al-Bassati, Yuhua.

الملخص العربي

يتناول البحث من منظور الأدب المقارن صور القهر الاجتماعي في رواية "جوع" للكاتب المصري "محمد البساطي"، ورواية "مذكرات بائع الدم" للكاتب الصيني "يوهوا"، حيث تتشابه أحداث الروايتين في تعدد صور القهر الاجتماعي التي يتعرّض لها أبطال الروايتين؛ من معاناة الفقر والظروف الاقتصادية السيئة، مرورًا بالتهميش وشكل العلاقات الاجتماعية، كما تختلف صور القهر الاجتماعي في بعض الجوانب التي تتعلّق بالاختلافات الثقافية والظروف الاجتماعية بين البلدين، وخلص البحث إلى أن هناك بعض صور القهر الاجتماعي التي تختلف فيها الروايتين؛ منها البطالة والمعاناة فيما يخص تعليم الأولاد وحتى العواطف والزواج، وتأثير الكوارث على الفقراء؛ سواء الكوارث الطبيعية أو الكوارث التي يصنعها الإنسان، بينما تتشابه الروايتان مع بعضهما البعض في بعض صور القهر، مثل الفقر والعلاقات الاجتماعية ومعاناة التهميش، كما أن هناك الكثير من العوامل ساهمت في ذلك القهر الاجتماعي الذي تعرضت له شخصيات الروايتين؛ منها ضعف البنية التحتية في الريف، وتدني مستوى التعليم والخدمات، والتمييز بين المجتمعات الحضرية والريفية.الكلمات المفتاحية: القهر الاجتماعي – الظلم الاجتماعي – الأدب المقارن – محمد البساطي – يوهوا.
