Abstract English
The present study deals with some Land problems dogging Greater Cairo, the most important of which the landslides in Moqattem mountain area, Ain el Sira hills, and the Pyramids plateau, and the problems of flash floods that may infect urbanism that located in the mouths of Degla and Houf valleys, as well as the nilotic problems, earthquakes problems, and some other problems, and how to cope with these problems.

تتناول هذه الدراسة بعض المشكلات الأرضية التى تعانى منها القاهرة الكبرى، والتى من أهمها مشكلات الانهيارات الأرضية بمنطقة جبل المقطم، وتلال عين الصيرة، وهضبة الأهرام، ومشكلات السيول التى قد تصيب العمران الواقع عند مصبى واديى دجلة وحوف، وكذلك المشكلات النيلية، ومشكلات الزلازل، وبعض المشكلات الأخرى، وكيفية مواجهة تلك المشكلات.
