Abstract English
This research aims to monitor and analyze the extent of the changes that have occurred in the late marriage of girls in the Egyptian society, amidst the conflict between the cultural heritage of the families of girls and the changes in the real world. Spinsterhood is both a complex social phenomenon, linked to the social context, and a social dimension formed by the prevalence of customs and its continuation; the fact that created restrictions that are difficult to break from. Moreover, they have set frames and paths that cannot be avoided; this in turn compels us to reconsider the main source of this problem and attempt to solve it so as to preserve the society's unity and growth, and protect it from possible evils and threats. The study is based on a descriptive analytical approach and in-depth interviews of postgraduate students at Cairo University. The results reveal the changes that occurred in the girls' vision and understanding of marriage, the difficulties faced by them, and the pressures of society on girls in general
الملخص العربي
يهدف هذا البحث إلى رصد وتحليل حجم التغيرات التي لحقت بتأخر زواج الفتيات في ظل الصراع بين الموروث الثقافي لأسر الفتيات، وتغيرات الواقع المعاصر، وتعد العنوسة ظاهرة اجتماعية مركبة، ترتبط بالسياق الاجتماعى، كما لها بعد اجتماعى يشكله تسيد الأعراف وتواصل العادات، فصنعت لها قيودا وأغلالا يصعب الفكاك منها. وحددت لها أطر ومسارات يتعذر الانحراف عنها أو تجنبها، الأمر الذى يفرض علينا أن نعيد النظر في المصدر الأساسى للخلل لنقومه ونعدله لنحفظ للمجتمع تماسكه، ونموذه، ونجنبه ما يحاك له من شرور وما يتهدده من أخطار. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفى التحليلى وطبقت الدراسة الميدانية على عينة من الملتحقات بالدراسات العليا بجامعة القاهرة قوامها عشرون حالة، تراوحت أعمارهن ما بين (30-40) عاما، وتم تطبيق دليل مقابلة مقننة، وبينت النتائج حجم التغيرات التي لحقت برؤية الفتيات للزواج وحجم الصعوبات التي تواجههن وضغوط المجتمع التي تعانيها الفتيات.
