Abstract English
This study deals, the honorary or free membership of non-scientists and scholars during the Roman period, which was gained by rich men, officials, military leaders and, other groups. It attempts to knwo the reasons for granting such membership, the privileges enjoyed by these individuals, and the effects on the Mouseion as a prestigious scientific institution from granting such membership to these individuals, during that period.

يتناول هذا البحث العضوية الشرفية أو المجانية للموسيون من غير العلماء والدارسين خلال العصر الروماني، والتي تمتع بها أثرياء وموظفين وقادة عسکريين وفئات أخرى، ومحاولة معرفة أسباب منح هذه العضوية، والامتيازت التي حظى بها هولاء الأفراد، والآثار المترتية على الموسيون کمؤسسة علمية عريقة من منح هذه العضوية لهؤلاء الأفراد خلال تلک الفترة
