Abstract English

This research addresses the field of colors in Arabic and their morphological and lexical meaning. The aim is to achieve the semantic relations that connect the terms of this field, and how they are presented in the Arabic language and dictionaries. Based on the linguistic analysis, the study attempts to examine whether this field is a lexical field or a grammatical one. Moreover, it analyzes the semantic features of the terms and how they are dealt with in modern linguistic methods.

ملخص البحث موضوع البحث حقل الألوان في اللغة العربية بين الدلالة المورفولوجية والدلالة المعجمية، وأحاول فيه الوصول إلى العلاقات الدلالية التي تربط ألفاظ هذا الحقل، وکيف تعاملت اللغة العربية وکذلک المعاجم مع هذه الألفاظ . ووفق مستويات التحليل اللغوي هل هذه المجموعة أقرب إلى أن تکون حقلا معجميا أم حقلا صرفيا، وکيف يمکن تحديد المکونات الدلالية لهذه الألفاظ، وما قدمته المناهج اللغوية الحديثة لدراسة هذه النوعية من المفردات. The research addresses the field of colors in Arabic language, their morphological meaning and their lexical meaning. Our aim is to achieve the semantic relations that connect this field's vocabularies, and to know how the language and dictionaries dealt with these vocabularies, and to which field it belongs from the lexical field and morph-semantic field according to levels of linguistic analysis, and how to determine the semantic components of these vocabularies, and what modern linguistic methods submitted to study this kind of vocabularies.
