Abstract English
The current study aimed to achieve three main objectives: for shed light on the values of active citizenship and the efforts of parents in supporting the rights of the child in the rural community, to identify the practices of active citizenship among parents and their commitment to preserving the rights of the child in the rural family, and to reveal the contributions of fathers in promoting Active citizenship and reducing child rights violations in the rural family. The study was based on Giddens' structure formation theory and the indicators of active citizenship used by the European Social Survey in 2002. This study belongs to descriptive research, and relied on the method of the social sample survey, and on the two tools; the questionnaire and observation in collecting data. The sample size was (200) individuals, which were reached by following the snowball method, and the field study was conducted in the village of Dafsho in the center of Kafr Al-Dawwar, Beheira Governorate. The study reached some important results, including: that the rural family is well aware of the rights of its children and tries to preserve them and limit their violation. Fathers do not distinguish between males and females, nor between children in the village for any reason. Fathers play an active and effective role in the village, and enjoy citizenship rights to some extent. And they try to support their children and protect them against any aggression.

هدفت الدراسة الراهنة إلى تحقيق ثلاثة أهداف رئيسة: تسليط الضوء على قيم المواطنة النشطة وجهود الآباء في دعم حقوق الطفل في المجتمع الريفي، والتعرف على ممارسات المواطنة النشطة بين الآباء ومدى التزامهم بالحفاظ على حقوق الطفل في الأسرة الريفية، والکشف عن إسهامات أولئکالآباء في تعزيز المواطنة النشطة، والحد من انتهاکات حقوق الطفل في أسرهم. واعتمدت الدراسة على نظرية تشکيل البنية عند جيدنز، ورؤية براين تيرنر لمفهوم المواطنة، ومؤشرات المواطنة النشطة التي استخدمها المسح الاجتماعي الأوروبي عام 2002.وتنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى البحوث الوصفية، وتعتمد على طريقة المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة، وعلى أداتي استمارة الاستبيان والملاحظة في جمع البيانات. وبلغ حجم العينة مائتي مفردة، کان الوصول إليهم باتباع أسلوب کرة الثلج. وأجريت الدراسة الميدانية في قرية دفشو بمرکز کفر الدوار-محافظة البحيرة. وتوصلت إلى عدد من النتائج المهمة، منها: أن الأسرة الريفية تدرک جيدًا حقوق أبنائها، وتحاول الحفاظ عليها، والحد من انتهاکها، کما لا يميز الآباء بين الذکور والإناث ، ولا بين الأطفال في القرية لأي سبب من الأسباب. ويقوم الآباء بدور نشط وفعال في القرية، ويتمتعون بحقوق المواطنة إلى حد ما. ويحاولون تدعيم أطفالهم وحمايتهم من أي اعتداء. کما اقترحت الدراسة بعض التوصيات، منها: ضرورة نشر ثقافة المواطنة وحقوق الإنسان، لاسيما حقوق الطفل في المجتمع الريفي، وغرس قيم المواطنة النشطة في نفوس الريفيين، من خلال المؤسسات والوزارات الحکومية المختلفة، وضرورة قيام القطاع الخاص بمشروعات إنتاجية تخدم القرى بشکل حقيقي.
